From down here, we can actually hear the carpenter fixing the apartment unit that we will soon transfer to. The unit is just one floor up, thus all the noises. When we went to check the apartment unit, it was still a mess and the previous tenant still hasn’t moved out, but has already placed his stuff in boxes. The unit was in total chaos. There were wine bottles in the closets, some of the tiles in the washroom and the kitchen are broken and it was dirty. So the superintendent told us that she will have it all cleaned up and fixed before we move in.
I hope we can sign the agreement by next week so that we can finally sleep in a bed and not on the floor. Well, hubby and I are used to sleeping on the floor back in our home country, but we have a mattress on. Here, it’s only sleeping bags that cushions us from the hard cold floor. I am excited to move and buy our own stuff and I just hope that I will get some blessings online so that I can help buy those important stuff we need.
Hurry up Mister Carpenter… lol!
